10 QUESTIONS WITH JESSICA ALIZZI

How are you spending this February the 14th?

The most important part of Valentine’s Day for me is spending quality time with my partner. The last few years we’ve had a picnic at our local park, with lots of cheese and champagne and watched the sunset over Melbourne CBD. It feels pretty special and has become somewhat of a tradition now.

Your favourite restaurant?

I really love Minamishima, Attica or Cutler and Co in Melbourne for a truly romantic dining experience.

What's on your bedside table right now?

Diptyque ‘BAIES’ candle, Byredo ‘gypsy water’ handcream, an empty vase, my journal that I often write in before I go to bed and the book “Lifespan” by David A. Sinclair PhD, which I only just started reading but absolutely love so far!

What's your favourite everyday ritual?

I like to start each morning with a coffee and breakfast in bed. It’s something I’ve done since I was a kid. Some days I’m rushing out the door for an early morning meeting or shoot, but when I do get the opportunity, it puts me in the best mood for the rest of the day!

Where is your favourite lunch spot?

I have so many… but I love Napier Quarter for wine and snacks, CIBI for home style Japanese and Everyday Coffee for the best coffee and bagels in town.

Any quotes you love?

“Enjoy the little things in life because one day you’ll look back and realise they were the big things” – Kurt Vonnegut.

What's your favourite Oroton piece this season?

I love the “Muse Texture Baguette” in white and the “Luna J Necklace”.

What are you currently watching/listening to?

I’m currently watching The Crown and always have 10 different podcasts on the go.

Do you collect anything?

I collect Polaroid photos and champagne/wine corks from special occasions.

What's in your bag right now?

Lip balm (my favourite is Chanel’s Hydra Beauty), my wallet, keys, iPhone, compress powder for touch ups, a spare hair tie and a bottle of water - if there’s room in my bag!
