BECK WADWORTH

Entrepreneur Beck Wadworth who successfully founded the luxe stationery brand An Organised Life sits down with Oroton to discuss how she keeps motived within her daily routine.

In your own words describe what you do?

I’m the founder and creative director of An Organised Life.

An Organised Life is a stationery brand and destination dedicated to providing beautiful but functional products and content to help organise busy lives.

What's your favourite everyday ritual?

Every morning I love getting up, making a coffee and finding a sunny spot at home to have a quiet moment before I get stuck into my day.

How do you stay fit and healthy?

My health and wellbeing have been a personal focus for me for the last few years. Being a business owner and workaholic, I really let it slide for a while and I’m loving having more balance in my life. I love walking and getting outside every day - even if it’s just for 20 minutes. And I’m obsessed with reformer pilates! Moving the body is so important.

What positive have you taken out of 2020 and living through Covid 19?

2020 has taught me the importance of balance and the need to slow down and unwind. It’s also taught me to be extremely grateful and to take nothing for granted.

Any quotes you love?

“Don’t be afraid. Be Focused. Be determined. Be hopeful. Be Empowered” - Michelle Obama

What's your favourite Oroton piece this season?

I love a puff sleeve and cinched in waist when it comes to a dress so the Taffeta Long Tiered Dress would be my pick. In terms of bags - definitely the Klara Medium Tote - the perfect combination of function and style.

What are you streaming right now?

I love Schitts Creek! And Graham Norton is my favourite.

Do you collect anything?

I always keep my past notebook and diaries as keepsakes!

When we can all travel again, where will your next holiday be?

Ohhh tough question! I can’t wait to get back to Sydney to see my friends and the AOL Team. But when the time is right, I would love to go to Spain and France on holiday - my dream trip this year was cancelled with everything going on but for now, I’m excited to explore more of my backyard in beautiful NZ.

What's in your bag right now?

These days, all my go-to’s for when I need to pop out and pick up some essentials; my keys, face mask, hand sanitiser, wallet, lip balm, perfume, notebook + pen, and I also always have a little emergency kit (Panadol, hair tie, band aid, etc).
