FASHION BLOGGER Q&A | SARA CRAMPTON

Accomplished fashion blogger Sara Crampton has a distinctive sleek style, in collaboration with Oroton, she showcases her favorite pieces from our women's collection and elaborates about herself in our Q&A.

What are your intentions and goals for 2020?

I had a baby at the end of last year so this year I plan to surrender to motherhood and take it all in, while also looking after myself and trying to keep some of my own identity as well.

In your own words describe what you do?

I own an online store (The UNDONE) that specializes in a minimal wardrobe for women and I’ve been working in the digital content space as a blogger for the past 11 years. Within this role I work with brands to highlight new products and tell their story to my audience of women who prefer a neutral style aesthetic.

What's on your bedside table right now?

A happy plant my husband bought for my birthday, a photo of us, a crystal, a Jo Malone candle (English Pear and Freesia – my wedding scent) and a Georg Jenson clock.

What's your favourite everyday ritual?

I love to listen to podcasts. I use to do this every morning on my drive in to work, but now that I’m mainly working from home with our baby, I save it for his morning nap times.

Where is your favourite lunch spot?

There is an isolated little café up at North Head in Manly that overlooks the harbour. You have to go through the national park, and it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. It then opens up and you have the most incredible view of the headland and can see across to the east headland and the cliffs of Vaucluse. The café is called Bella Vista, which has lots of great breakfast options and then turns into Italian for lunch.

Any quotes you love?

A problem shared is a problem halved.

What's your favourite Oroton piece this season?

I love the Ribbed Cotton-Jersey Tanks, a true wardrobe staple.

What are you currently watching/listening to?

I love following renovation Instagram accounts, and some of them do the best videos documenting the design process, it’s better than tv. And as mentioned I’m a big fan of podcasts. My favourites at the moment are Offline the Podcast, Glow Journal and Wardrobe Crisis.

Do you collect anything?

I try not to be a hoarder, but I can’t help but try on vintage Levis whenever I travel to Paris for buying trips. If a pair fit just right they come home with me.

What's in your bag right now?

Everything but the kitchen sink, really. Phone, headphones, sunglasses, mini perfume, necklace, hair ties, wallet. And then the baby bag is a whole other thing!
