Membership is free and gives access to a range of benefits, promotions, services and experiences made available from time to time. World of Oroton is not a points-based or status-tiered program: members do not earn or accumulate points, and there are no membership levels.

Information about how the Australian and New Zealand entities collect and handle your personal information is set out in clause 14 and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years or older and reside in Australia or New Zealand.

2.3 Your membership is linked to your active marketing subscription. If you unsubscribe from both email and SMS, you will no longer be eligible to receive new member benefits and offers until you resubscribe. An already issued Birthday Reward will not be cancelled if you unsubscribe after it is issued, and remains redeemable within its stated validity period (see clause 6.5). Membership remains active provided you stay subscribed to at least one of email or SMS in Australia or email in New Zealand.

4.2 You can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or SMS, or by managing your preferences in your Oroton account.

4.3 In Australia, unsubscribing from one of email or SMS, or in New Zealand from email does not affect your membership provided you remain subscribed to the other. If you unsubscribe from both email and SMS, your membership will become inactive and this will affect your eligibility for new member benefits and offers as set out in clause 2.3. It does not cancel a Birthday Reward already issued to you, see clause 6.5. This clause relates to your email and SMS marketing subscription only; it does not affect your wallet or push notification settings (see clause 9).

However, if a reward is issued incorrectly because of an error on Oroton’s part (for example, a system or processing error), Oroton will take reasonable steps to correct it, which may include reissuing the reward.

You may still redeem it within its stated validity period, even though you will not be eligible to receive new member benefits while unsubscribed (see clause 2.3).

6.6 The value, minimum spend and other conditions of future Birthday Rewards may change in accordance with clause 11. A change will not affect a reward already issued, which remains redeemable under its original terms until expiry.

  • differ between Oroton and Oroton Outlet channels; and
  • vary in availability and value over time.
7.2 Where a member offer applies, eligibility requirements (including identification as a member) will be applied automatically where the requirements set out in clause 8 are met. A promotion code is not generally required unless stated otherwise for a specific offer.

7.3 Member offers are subject to any additional terms published with that specific offer.

8. How Member Benefits Are Identified and Applied

In Oroton Stores
Members may be identified via their customer profile, email address, or digital membership card. Eligible benefits and pricing will be applied at the time of purchase where program conditions are met.

Online
To receive member benefits and pricing online, you must hold an Oroton online account and be logged in to that account at checkout. Benefits and member pricing are not available through guest checkout.

9. Digital Membership Card

9.1 Members may choose to add a digital membership card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet via Litecard. Downloading the card is optional.

9.2 You remain a member whether or not you download the card, and disabling wallet notifications does not end your membership. Your membership status is determined by your marketing subscription status (see clause 2.3), not by whether you hold a digital card.

9.3 You can opt out of wallet push notifications at any time (see clause 9.4 for how).

9.4 Disable wallet push notifications at any time.

For an Apple Wallet Pass: Toggle off Allow Notifications on your pass details or deleting your pass.

For a Google Wallet Pass: Open the Google Wallet app, tap your pass, open the pass menu (three-dot icon or Details), and turn off notifications there.

10. Concession Locations

Birthday Rewards and member-only pricing are not currently redeemable at Oroton concessions located within David Jones or Myer. These benefits are only redeemable through Oroton-owned channels (Oroton stores and oroton.com).

11. Changes to the Program

11.1 Oroton may make changes to the World of Oroton program on reasonable grounds for example, legal requirements, necessary operational or technical changes, or preventing misuse. This may include Oroton acting to:
  • introduce, change, suspend or withdraw any benefit;
  • change the value, structure or conditions of any benefit, including the Birthday Reward;
  • change these Terms; or
  • suspend or end the World of Oroton program.
11.2 Where a change is materially adverse to a benefit you are currently eligible for, Oroton will provide reasonable advance notice of the change where practicable, using the communication channel(s) you are subscribed to. Exceptions may occur where immediate action is reasonably necessary for legal, security or fraud reasons, with notice as soon as reasonably practicable.

11.3 A change to the program will not cancel or reduce the value and conditions of a Birthday Reward or other benefit already issued to you. That reward remains valid and redeemable in accordance with its stated validity period.

11.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable law, to the extent that it cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

12. Accounts

12.1 Each member should maintain a single Oroton account. If duplicate accounts are identified, Oroton may merge or consolidate them to maintain an accurate record of your membership and benefits.

12.2 To ensure your membership benefits apply consistently online and in-store, we recommend using the same email address across both channels.

13. Deactivating Your Membership

13.1 You may deactivate your membership at any time by unsubscribing from both email and SMS in Austrlalia or email in New Zealand, or by contacting Oroton Customer Care. Benefits already issued remain valid under their original terms.

13.2 Oroton may suspend or cancel a membership where there is reasonable belief the program is being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.

13.3 Deactivating your membership does not cancel a Birthday Reward or other benefit already issued to you before its stated expiry — you may still redeem it within its validity period.
