Customs & Import Duty Charges

Oroton will pay all taxes and duties on behalf of our customers.

Internationally, the price our customers pay include all taxes, duties & shipping with the exception of large luggage items which may incur an additional shipping charge.

Chinese Government Import Laws

Due to Chinese government import laws, any order with multiple items, where the value is greater than RMB 1,000 (approx. AUD $200) are not allowed.

Russian Government Import Laws

Due to Russian government import laws, orders to Russia must be delivered to a business address and purchased using a commercial bank account. We are unable to deliver orders to residential Russian addresses and accept orders placed with a personal account. All orders placed to private residences will be returned to sender.

If it has been 5 business days since you placed your order and your parcel has still not arrived, please contact our Client Services team.

Keep in mind that during sale periods and promotions, delivery dates may be longer.

Re-Delivery

If Your Address Is Unattended At The Time Of Delivery


        • Standard Delivery -If you have not provided Authority To Leave, you will receive a "Attempted Delivery" card, and the parcel will be transferred to the nearest post office for collection within 10 business days before being returned to sender.
        • International Delivery - If you have not provided Authority To Leave, you will receive a "Attempted Delivery" card detailing how you can arrange redelivery of your item with DHL directly.

Update Delivery Address

All online orders are fulfilled from our Sydney warehouse within a few hours, once your order has been confirmed Client Services are unable to make changes, though you may be able to update your address directly with the courier.

For Australian orders, please login to your MyPost Account. If you have received your Australia Post tracking number please click here to view your delivery options with Australia Post.

For international orders, please contact DHL. If you have received your DHL Tracking/Waybill number please click here and DHL may give you the option of updating your shipping address. Please note that if DHL are able to manually update your delivery details, your tax invoice will still reflect your original details as this was processed prior to your address change.

If you enter an incorrect address during checkout, Oroton is not liable for any delay or if the item does not arrive to you. Where an incorrect address is entered, parcels are usually returned to sender. We will make every effort upon the parcel being returned to us to re-label and re-dispatch, however Oroton cannot be accountable for any delays which are incurred during the transit/delivery period. Please note there may be an added delivery charge to resend your item(s) to the correct address.

No signature required for delivery

To avoid unnecessary contact, during this time, Australia Post are not asking you to sign for items at the moment.

If the sender has requested a signature, someone will still need to be home for delivery. The postie will ask for and record a name before confirming delivery on their handheld device. They'll then leave the item at the door.

If the sender has requested an ID check, the postie will complete the check at a safe distance before placing the item on the ground.

If nobody's home to receive delivery, your item will be taken to a local Post Office for collection. The staff there will follow the same procedures to confirm delivery.

As usual, if the sender hasn't requested a signature, the postie will check for a safe place to leave the item. And if a safe place can't be found, they'll take it to the Post Office for collection.

Authority To Leave("ATL")

Authority to Leave (“ATL”) gives permission for our couriers to leave your online order without obtaining a signature. The benefit of delivering parcels with ATL is that the parcel will almost always be delivered on the first attempt. This means you won’t have to arrange redelivery or collect your parcel from a local collection point. However, please note that Oroton holds no responsibility for goods left unattended at a delivery address when parcel is marked with ATL.

For Australian deliveries, please click here and login into your MyPost account to request a Safe Drop for your parcel.

For international deliveries, please click here and enter your Tracking/Waybill number to give DHL authority to leave your parcel in a safe place at your address.

Safe Drop

Australia Post offer a “Safe Drop” feature which gives the deliverer authority to leave your parcel unattended in a safe place without obtaining a signature. If you have given Australia Post permission to Safe Drop any previous deliveries, this information is saved in your Australia Post account for all future deliveries. You are required to update your preferences in your Australia Post account prior to ordering if you do not wish for your Oroton order to be left unattended. Please note that Oroton holds no responsibility for parcels left with Safe Drop.
